Description

Lead quality assurance efforts for manual and automated testing cycles across web and mobile applications.

Chicago, IL, USA is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and user stories to design detailed test plans and cases.
• Execute manual functional, UI, integration, and regression tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups within an Agile/Scrum team.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Working knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Basic experience with automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a CI/CD environment (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
