Description

You will execute manual testing processes to validate web applications and API functionality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual test cases, functional test scenarios, and API test cases based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution while providing detailed test reports.
• Validate API endpoints for correctness, performance, and security using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Conduct web application testing across various browsers and devices, including load and stress testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers during requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles with a focus on web application and functional testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and functional testing frameworks.
• Experience with API testing principles and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Practical knowledge of API test case development.
• Familiarity with security protocols including OAuth and JWT tokens.
• Ability to interpret logs and use monitoring tools like New Relic to track application performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing automation tools such as Selenium, TestRail, or Ghost Inspector.
• Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing.
