Description

You will execute manual and scripted testing to identify, reproduce, and document software defects. You own the end-to-end testing process for PC configurations and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad-hoc and scripted testing to identify and reproduce software issues.
• Document defects and enter them into the client issue tracking system.
• Analyze data to determine failure rates and identify key components causing failures.
• Configure and set up PCs, peripherals, and software environments.
• Present key facts and make recommendations based on test results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software testing or software usage experience.
• Hands-on experience with PC configuration and setup.
• Experience configuring peripherals and software.
• Ability to perform system and PC-level testing.
• Proven ability to reproduce documented issues and analyze failure causes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Associate of Applied Science degree, educational equivalent, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in software or hardware development.
