Description

You will perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality for the Child Welfare – Office of Information Technology team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and plans for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using incident tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify defect fixes.
• Guide Leapwork developers in creating test scripts and assist in executing automated tests.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and generate reports highlighting key metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual Test Engineer or similar software testing role.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and ServiceNow for incident tracking and test management.
• Proven ability to create and execute structured test cases and scenarios for front-end and back-end applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
