Description

You will perform manual functional testing for Integrated Eligibility systems, ensuring quality through detailed test execution and defect tracking.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on business and system requirements.
• Perform defect tracking, prioritization, and coordinate resolutions with development and functional teams.
• Write and execute SQL queries against Oracle databases to validate test scenarios.
• Document, track, and report defects using test management tools.
• Participate in testing activities across SDLC/STLC in both Waterfall and Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on software testing.
• Expertise in manual functional testing and defect management.
• Experience with test case and defect management tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, Client ALM, or Quality Center.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB querying.
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MTM, TFS, Soap UI, or Visual Studio.
• Exposure to integrated eligibility systems like Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, or Child Care.
• Experience creating automation scripts using VBScript, Selenium, or TFS Codeed UI.
