Description

Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, leading release validation and quality assurance for network-centric software deliverables.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead release validation efforts across multiple projects to ensure system stability and quality.
• Design and maintain scalable testing environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP using Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Validate network traffic using protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and SSL/TLS to create high-fidelity test cases.
• Triage defects and track issues by collaborating with Development, Product Management, and global QE teams.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across system, network, and application layers to diagnose complex issues.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
• Hands-on expertise with SIEM tools including Splunk, Elastic, and Sentinel for security event logging validation.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and Terraform for environment management.
• Strong understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, with deep knowledge of Layer 2–7 networking.
• Solid experience in Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu) and proficiency in Git workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage priorities in ambiguous environments with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Zeek, Suricata, and YARA for network analysis and security testing.
• Exposure to specialized network hardware setups such as Napatech NICs.
