Description

Lead the development and optimization of assembly processes for modular home production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement assembly processes ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
• Design and review assembly line layouts to optimize workflow, space utilization, and ergonomics.
• Troubleshoot assembly line issues and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including assembly procedures, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on assembly processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for layout design.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Deep understanding of both automated and manual assembly processes.
• Applied knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new equipment.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotics, PLCs, and automated assembly systems.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
