Description

Drive process improvements and equipment installation to support manufacturing efficiency and quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and install secondary equipment in coordination with APQP engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Improve labor efficiencies and quality using synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Lead new program launches by developing process flows, cell layouts, cycle time estimates, and line balancing.
  • Implement error-proofing systems and corrective action plans to address quality issues.
  • Coordinate with program engineers to apply DFMA strategies and develop FMEMAs, control plans, and work guidance.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Practical exposure to DFMEA and synchronous manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with ergonomics in building and inspecting procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical Engineering background.
