Description

You will optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor in Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, schedules, and data to provide management with statistical reports on future requirements.
• Eliminate non-value added steps by documenting processes, tools, components, logistics, and procedures.
• Validate and maintain manufacturing processes using PDCA principles and equipment validation.
• Support production lines by troubleshooting equipment, implementing process improvements, and addressing operator inquiries.
• Manage engineering changes, including cost estimation, documentation, and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy within the ERP system.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with process and equipment validation.
• Ability to perform cost analysis and ROI tracking for engineering projects.
• Experience reviewing production order documentation, BOMs, and routings.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
