Description

You will own manufacturing engineering support for specific projects, focusing on change analysis, risk analysis, and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and improve manufacturing processes to control the safety and efficacy of finished devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the safety, efficacy, quality, cost, or delivery of components and finished devices.
• Conduct qualification, verification, and validation activities to produce medical devices.
• Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures.
• Train and provide work direction to operators and technicians.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing assembly lines.
• Proficiency in conducting Time Studies for various assembly lines.
• Experience with design control efforts, including risk analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Ability to perform technology development, material testing, and preparation of specifications.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and process studies.
• Skill in designing, developing, testing, and validating equipment and processes.
• Ability to participate in cross-functional project teams and design reviews.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing yield, efficiency, throughput, and performance through process or product improvement.
