Description

Own manufacturing process engineering and floor operations for assembly and production workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate directly with assembly workers and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
• Interpret engineering prints and apply basic metrology using calipers, straight edges, and measuring tapes.
• Design and implement tools and fixtures to support assembly processes.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure clear, effective communication with shop floor staff.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering prints.
• Strong floor communication skills with assembly operators and technicians.
• Experience working autonomously within a cross-functional team environment.
• Basic metrology proficiency including use of calipers and straight edges.
• Focus on safety protocols and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on fiberglass manufacturing experience.
• Background in automotive or agricultural industry manufacturing.
• Tool design experience.
