Develops production and tooling methodologies for air vehicle subsystems, ensuring production readiness and operational efficiency.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement manufacturing plans and resolve technical problems using advanced engineering principles.
• Lead manufacturability and assembly decisions during design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to integrate technical solutions.
• Optimize workflows and streamline processes to enhance quality and timely delivery.
• Utilize data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering discipline within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience working in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and interfacing with internal customers.
• Proficiency in implementing Lean principles and technologies.
• Experience with 3D model-based instructions and composite fabrication.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and common image standards.
• Experience reviewing and approving installation plans, tool orders, and line stock checks.

Preferred Skills

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
• Proficiency in IVT, CREO, CATIA, NX, IPDM Teamcenter, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, or similar tools.
