Description

You will support the development and production of medical devices for stroke treatment within a multi-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor line efficiency, performance, and output using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to implement improvements.
• Manage production targets and relationships with external manufacturers.
• Execute process risk analysis and drive ongoing risk reduction initiatives.
• Provide design for manufacture feedback to R&D teams during new product development.
• Handle equipment specification, procurement, calibration, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Mechanical or biomedical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a GMP regulated Operations Department.
• Experience providing production and line support within a medical device environment.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean engineering principles.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and structured decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform equipment validation and process validation.
• Proficiency in technical reporting and presenting data to internal stakeholders and customers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with laser-cutting, welding, adhesive bonding, or microassembly of medical devices.
