Description

You will own the process improvements and operational efficiency within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive productivity improvements using techniques like RCIs and value stream mapping.
• Manage and support quality processes, both internally and externally.
• Lead the design, specification, purchase, and installation of new equipment.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce setup times and improve flow.
• Conduct financial and economic analyses related to process changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and Access programs.
• Experience utilizing process, capacity, and cost/benefit analysis tools.
• Familiarity with equipment reliability and set up reduction.
• Understanding of the Engineering Design Process.
• Knowledge of simulation and process modeling.
• Ability to manage projects and lead technical efforts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Occupational Bio Mechanics/Human Factors Engineering.
• Familiarity with material handling and waste stream analysis.
