Description

You will be responsible for the physical assembly, testing, and documentation of complex electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot control panels, conduit systems, and cable trays.
  • Perform electrical assembly on gas turbines, compressors, and rotating equipment.
  • Document and chart test results per production and turbine assembly procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Parts, and Operations teams.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical assembly, control panel wiring, or rotating equipment manufacturing.
  • Proficiency reading electrical blueprints and schematic diagrams (English/metric).
  • Hands-on experience with breakers, disconnects, starters, relays, overloads, and timers.
  • Ability to work with wire sizes 18 AWG to 1/0 AWG.
  • Experience working with Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and Fire & Gas systems.
  • Knowledge of NEC and IEC standards for hazardous and intrinsically safe areas.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, air-powered tools, and torque wrenches.
  • High School Diploma/GED or 10+ years of relevant industrial electrician experience.
