Description

You will own the design, testing, and implementation of production processes and equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement new processes, equipment, and workflows to optimize production performance.
• Evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process, product, or equipment issues.
• Work with vendors to design and develop tools, fixtures, and test equipment for cost-effective solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of industry experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or CATIA (3D CAD Modeling).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
• Experience in equipment integration, covering evaluation, prototyping, testing, and justification.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA, ASME, or ISO.
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
