Description

Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for composite aerostructures in Kinston, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage layup, curing, trimming, and assembly processes for composite aerostructures.
• Create and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve technical and process-related issues on the production floor in real time.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and tooling teams to ensure manufacturability during NPI and production ramp.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with composite materials and processes.
• Proficiency with Catia and CAD/PLM systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills for production floor challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on production environment.
