Description

You will manage manufacturing processes and technical documentation for aerospace production programs in Kinston, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MBOM, routings, material masters, and tool orders within SAP.
• Review and resolve discrepancies between Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM.
• Perform engineering drawing reviews for release and manage configuration control via DMU review.
• Address shop floor productivity concerns and support manufacturing build plans for development programs.
• Execute obsolescence studies to determine part disposition and support production systems for new and serial programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within the Aerospace industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aero-structures.
• Proficiency in SAP for MBOM, routing, and material master creation.
• Experience using CATIA V5 for 2D and 3D modeling.
• Ability to perform blueprint reading and 2D drawing reviews.
• Experience with CNC Programming, CSS, and FMEA.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
