Description

You will develop manufacturing and tooling plans while optimizing production processes through engineering principles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide manufacturing and tooling plans by coordinating with engineering and supply teams.
• Establish requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
• Identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to improve processes in support of type design.
• Perform trade and cost studies while assisting in leading integrated product and process teams.
• Apply process engineering principles to optimize production.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of metallic and composite manufacturing techniques and treatment processes.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design platforms with strong drawing and design interpretation skills.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement Toolsets, such as Seven Wastes.
• Experience in one or more areas: Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems, or Structures.
• Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
