Apply engineering principles to industrial layout and manufacturing production problems while supporting core component design teams.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
Manage the procurement, tracking, and inventory of non-production prototype parts.
Document operational issues and coordinate with design engineers to implement resolutions.
Participate in project teams to deliver proven-design components to the point of use.
Assess and solve manufacturing issues related to part design or as-received quality.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 2-4 years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing common computations.
Experience inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
Advanced proficiency in M.S. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP or related supply chain management software.
