Description

Apply engineering principles to industrial layout and manufacturing production problems while supporting core component design teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Manage the procurement, tracking, and inventory of non-production prototype parts.
• Document operational issues and coordinate with design engineers to implement resolutions.
• Participate in project teams to deliver proven-design components to the point of use.
• Assess and solve manufacturing issues related to part design or as-received quality.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 2-4 years of experience, OR Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing common computations.
• Experience inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
• Advanced proficiency in M.S. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP or related supply chain management software.
