Description

You will design, develop, and implement production processes to ensure efficient mass production of goods in Macungie, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly processes using Lean Manufacturing principles to meet production targets.
• Industrialize new products and process changes following project gate plan deliverables.
• Determine assembly sequences, time standards, line balancing, station design, and tooling requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on ergonomics, cost efficiency, productivity, and performance.
• Create and maintain work instructions, determine manpower levels, and provide direct line support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience in assembly sequence determination and line balancing.
• Ability to design manufacturing equipment arrangements and station layouts.
• Experience conducting production tests to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of designing procedures for tool and equipment fabrication.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to product design engineering on manufacturing techniques.
• Experience ensuring production processes comply with relevant regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Ability to coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.
