Description

You will own the optimization and technical authority for all manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Study and evaluate current manufacturing practices to identify efficiency improvements.
• Lead efforts to enhance manufacturing methods to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety.
• Apply manufacturing best practices to new products by documenting clear subassembly requirements.
• Use data analysis and statistical methods to find root causes of failures and implement corrections.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure products are designed for cost-effective manufacturing.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
• Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Advanced proficiency with CAD and CAM software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quantitative background.
• Proven experience in leading projects and technical teams.
• Experience in cost down and fast turnaround production of complex capital equipment.
• Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation.
