You will design and develop mechanical assembly processes for box builds to ensure efficiency and quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical assembly processes for box builds and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with design engineering, procurement, and quality assurance teams to integrate components and materials.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvements for cost reduction and productivity.
• Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience post-internship in a manufacturing environment, specifically in mechanical box build assembly.
• Bachelor's degree, military training, or equivalent vocational training (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience with web-based tools such as Frontpage and HTML.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports, specifications, and work instructions.
