Description

You will manage manufacturing planning and process implementation for aircraft structural assemblies, systems, and payloads in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Author build and installation plans for aircraft components and assemblies.
• Create detailed work instructions for assembly operations and component installation.
• Develop testing and inspection plans to ensure system continuity and proper functioning.
• Implement process audits and standard work instructions to maintain quality management standards.
• Analyze assembly sequences to drive continuous process improvements and implement Lean principles.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Production, or equivalent Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering planning.
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and assembly planning.
• Proficiency in drawing interpretation and GD&T.
• Working knowledge of CATIA or NX modeling software.
• Experience with data acquisition and control systems.
• Understanding of aerospace materials and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Boeing products or commercial aircraft platforms.
