Description

You will design cost-effective assembly lines and methods to support high-quality manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineering during product development to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead operations team projects to develop assembly methods for new products.
• Identify capital equipment needs and develop business justifications for expenditures.
• Implement lean manufacturing concepts and lead lean initiatives across the operations team.
• Develop fixtures and work cells to drive manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer in an electro-mechanical assembly facility.
• Proven experience implementing Lean or Just-in-Time projects.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
• Solid understanding of electronic assembly processes and quality standards.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of TL9000 and regulatory requirements.
