Responsibilities
• Understand and maintain the existing ("AS IS") manufacturing network infrastructure.
• Investigate and troubleshoot network issues affecting production equipment and
manufacturing systems.
• Perform technical problem isolation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, and related network infrastructure.
• Analyze and resolve issues involving Routing, Switching, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP,
and Firewalls.
• Review network logs and identify the root cause of network incidents.
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers, infrastructure teams, system administrators,
equipment vendors, and other stakeholders to restore production services.
• Support the daily operation and maintenance of the manufacturing network.
• Minimize production downtime through effective technical troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Network Infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (Required).
• Experience supporting enterprise or manufacturing network environments.
• Proven experience performing network troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
· Cisco Switching & Routing
· TCP/IP
· VLAN
· DNS
· DHCP
· Firewall Technologies
• Ability to independently investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
• Japanese / English Bilingual (Business Level) — Required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities or industrial environments.
• Experience with Factory Networks or Industrial Networks.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MES, or Factory Automation.
• Windows Server administration or support experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
