Description

You will manage manufacturing projects from contract award through completion, overseeing design, engineering, procurement, and installation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle, including design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases.
• Act as the primary interface for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project schedules, costs, scope, and commercial requirements.
• Draft, review, and issue Project Change Orders while mitigating variances.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance for problem resolution.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial management skills including cost control, forecasting, cost accruals, and reconciliation.
• Experience managing vendor relations, material purchasing, and requisitions.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and Quickbase.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and contract requirements.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to move around a production floor and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Skills

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Knowledge of Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA).
• Experience using JD Edwards.
