Description

You will bridge manufacturing operations and IT by designing and specifying industrial automation and connectivity solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Specify industrial automation platforms including PLC, DCS, SCADA, and Process Historians.
• Select and specify industrial sensors for plant floor applications.
• Configure, maintain, and resolve centralized collection systems using high-level communication protocols.
• Articulate solution structures and technical benefits to clients and project teams.
• Travel to client sites 80-100% of the time to support project delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain operations, or IT Supply Chain.
• Proven track record with 10+ significant projects.
• Expertise in Industrial Networks and protocols such as Ethernet, RS232/485, Ethernet IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus, BACnet, and Profibus.
• Hands-on experience with OPC-UA/DA and MQTT protocols.
• Deep knowledge of core manufacturing processes and plant floor equipment.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in C, Java, SQL, Javascript, Python, Swift, or PHP.
• Experience with IIoT platforms like PTC Thingworx, SAP MII, or Mindsphere.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, and ISA-99 standards.
