Description

You will support product and process innovation through technical execution and experimentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute experimentation to integrate new processes and products into production.
• Collaborate with engineers on innovation projects to reduce costs, downtime, defects, and increase yields.
• Operate measurement devices and collect data to support process understanding.
• Interpret process data to solve problems and provide input for project timelines and resource planning.
• Train and coach engineering and operations personnel on equipment and processes.

Required Skills

• 1 to 5 years of experience in technician roles.
• Capability to run fiber-making and fiber processing equipment.
• Experience with FTIR benches and microscopes.
• Experience with coating/ink purge and mixing equipment.
• Experience with optical fiber measurement benches, screeners, and coloring machines.
• Mechanical and process aptitude with the ability to design or fabricate experimental tools and equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to write process, product, or equipment documentation.

• Any Graduate degree.
