Description

You will develop and maintain test software for satellite system elements, focusing on optical communication. You own the full test lifecycle from requirements gathering to execution and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write test software using Python, C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, and MATLAB.
• Create and maintain test scripts to achieve full test coverage for hardware at the PCBA, subsystem, and LRU levels.
• Gather requirements to develop software for specific satellite system components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within test systems and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet all test requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test environments.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to write clear, effective test scripts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using MATLAB.
