Description

Manage technical risk and system stability within critical trading environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and alert on critical trading system environments using ITRS enterprise monitoring.
• Own release implementation, post-release testing, and adherence to Change Management policies.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate restoration efforts for high-impact technology incidents.
• Lead daily technical change meetings and manage global resources through the bank's change process.
• Develop tools to drive efficiency, stability improvements, and proactive problem resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in incident, problem, and release management.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, Unix Shell, and SQL (including multi-table joins and grouping).
• Hands-on experience with Solaris, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience supporting traders in high-pressure front-office trading environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure disciplines including network, server, storage, and messaging.
• Ability to use Tableau and MS Office for report generation and analysis.
• Experience with grid computing and batch management.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple concurrent requests and rationalize technical impact.
