Description

You will manage and support MariaDB and MongoDB database environments in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and configure MariaDB databases within Linux environments.
• Manage large OLTP production databases, including capacity management and table partitioning.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures using the Mariabackup utility.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform query performance analysis.
• Provide 24x7 production support on a rotational on-call basis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant database administration experience.
• Deep understanding of MariaDB 10.5+ on Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Galera and MaxScale concepts.
• Proficiency in database security administration and encryption strategies.
• Experience implementing MariaDB Data-Masking.
• Expertise in handling large-scale OLTP production workloads.
• Strong database troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to manage database capacity and table partitioning.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
