Description

Lead on-site masonry and concrete construction crews to ensure project completion according to plans and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction tasks based on project priorities and site plans.
• Supervise, train, and allocate daily responsibilities to workers and tradespeople.
• Monitor crew attendance, morale, and skill sets while ensuring adequate manpower and resources.
• Oversee the use of machinery and equipment while monitoring expenditures against the budget.
• Report project progress to managers and engineers and resolve on-site problems as they arise.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in masonry and concrete construction.
• Ability to work with heavy materials including concrete, block, and brick.
• Experience operating and supervising the use of construction machinery and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and crew management.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform physically demanding essential job functions.
