Description

Manage production workloads and capacity planning to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop 10 to 12 week workload versus capacity comparisons for all work centers to level load production and estimate labor requirements.
• Establish production goals and plans for Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, Marking, and Cleaning.
• Analyze sales order releases for capacity planning and material requirements.
• Coordinate with machine shop, production, and shipping supervisors to resolve scheduling and part availability issues.
• Maintain shortage and backorder reports and interface with manufacturing, customer service, and accounting to resolve efficiency issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing planner or scheduler role.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
• Capacity Planning expertise.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Optics or highly precise product lines.
• University degree.
