Description

You will own the development, validation, and deployment of dynamic system models and control software using MATLAB and Simulink.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic models for electrical and electro-mechanical systems, including hybrid battery/electric powertrains, AC/DC motors, and power electronics.
• Implement model-based design workflows, including code generation using MATLAB RTW, SystemBuild, and real-time C/C++ generation.
• Deploy models for real-time simulation and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Validate model accuracy against field data and support simulator development for system validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MATLAB and Simulink model development, review, and updates.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded code generation and real-time system implementation.
• Hands-on experience with real-time simulation environments and HIL lab testing.
• Ability to model hybrid battery/electric powertrains, induction/DC motors, and IGBT/rectifier circuits.
• Experience with model configuration control and version management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with asynchronous induction AC motors and separately excited DC motors.
• Familiarity with relay- and contactor-based electrical circuit modeling.
