Description

Manage automotive software development projects, coordinating between Tier 1 suppliers in Japan and France.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Break down high-level requirements into lower-level subsystem requirements and designs.
• Create software development schedules and manage progress to ensure requirement completion.
• Communicate project status, engineering changes, or delays to customer teams and stakeholders.
• Implement countermeasures and escalate issues when project results or progress are unsatisfactory.
• Coordinate project activities with customer teams and participate in troubleshooting to propose sustainable solutions.

Required Skills

• 9-12 years of experience in Project Management, specifically managing medium-sized teams.
• Proficiency in Japanese (N2 reading and writing) and English.
• Experience with Automotive Tier 1 and OEM processes.
• Knowledge of A-SPICE, ISO26262, and AUTOSAR standards.
• Knowledge of embedded C language development and microcontroller architecture.
• Proficiency with PPT, XLS, MPP, SVN, JIRA, and IBM DNG/EWM.
• Ability to manage project schedules, costs, and specifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Powertrain or braking systems.
