Description

Ensure the quality and reliability of ETL processes and data integration workflows through automated testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts and frameworks for complex data initiatives.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate all testing activities within an Agile team.
• Identify, document, and track bugs while performing thorough regression testing.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and track quality metrics like defect density.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 6-7 years specifically in MDM QA.
• Proficiency in Informatica MDM (version 10.x or higher) and Informatica MDM SaaS 360.
• Mandatory experience with PySpark and ETL testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments including S3, Glue, EMR, Data Catalog, Crawler, SQS, and Event Bridge.
• Experience testing with Athena and Redshift Spectrum databases.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling, physical schema properties, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Ability to use AWS commands for running jobs and managing file movements.
• Experience implementing Test Automation and DevOps practices in ETL and cloud systems.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation framework development.
• Support and guide junior team members through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
