Description

Lead the architectural transition of a monolithic web application to microservices and serverless models, including migrating the existing MEAN stack from Azure to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate the existing MEAN stack application from Azure to AWS cloud environments.
• Refactor monolithic architecture into microservices and serverless components.
• Transition notification systems from Socket.io to AWS AppSync.
• Oversee the end-to-end cloud migration strategy.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in the MEAN stack.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proven experience managing cloud migrations.
• Experience with microservices architecture patterns.
• Experience with serverless computing models.
• Knowledge of Socket.io and real-time communication.
• Experience with AWS AppSync.
