Description

You will design, analyze, and test downhole tool components for oil and gas well completions.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify products used in well completions.
• Develop test procedures and conduct physical testing on materials, subassemblies, and tools.
• Perform detailed analysis of test results.
• Create and update manufacturing drawings for complex machining and assembly.
• Manage PDM data (CWI) and process engineering change requests within defined time limits.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience with downhole tool components in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency with Ansys for analysis.
• Proficiency with Mathcad.
• Experience with PDM Data Management and CWI.
• Competency in MS Office.
• Ability to produce complex manufacturing drawings and perform drawing checks.
