Description

Design custom test fixtures and execute product testing protocols in a lab environment. You will lead lab technicians, manage project priorities, and collaborate across teams to improve technical processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build functional test fixtures for new products.
• Execute testing protocols and identify potential sources of error.
• Train, mentor, and lead lab technicians to ensure technical proficiency.
• Balance immediate testing demands with long-term project priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

Required Skills

• BSMET, BSEET, or equivalent experience as a lab technician.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product design.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience testing new products.
• Proven ability to design functional test fixtures.
• Strong understanding of test methods and error analysis.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a lab setting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to lead others.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with fluidic or hydraulic components.
• LabView programming experience.
