Description

Design and validate fluidic and thermal mechanical systems, leading troubleshooting through lab and system-level testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements and ensure performance and quality standards are met.
• Create detailed designs using CREO and manage engineering changes via Windchill.
• Perform lab and system-level testing to troubleshoot, validate, and support DFMEA, DOE, and reliability testing.
• Apply 8D, A3, and DMAIC methodologies for structured problem-solving.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, and manufacturing teams to integrate systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (ABET) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on laboratory testing experience with data analysis and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in CREO for design and Windchill for change management.
• Strong ability to collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and stage-gate development processes.
