Description

You will design and deliver mechanical components, emphasizing sheet metal and DFMA principles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed 3D models and drawings for mechanical assemblies.
• Perform tolerance analyses and ensure compliance with established design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturable and cost-effective designs.
• Support engineering design reviews throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Expertise in Creo for 3D modeling, detailing, assemblies, and documentation.
• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
• Experience with Cat systems, including Teamcenter for PLM.
• Familiarity with SDP tools such as Fluid Lines, Electric Lines, and Sheet Metal modules.
• Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with sheet metal design optimization.
