Description

Remote Mechanical Design Engineer role focused on aerospace gas turbine engine component development. You will own the design, analysis, and documentation lifecycle for critical engine parts.

Responsibilities

• Create solid part models and technical drawings using NX CAD and Solidworks.
• Perform geometric tolerance studies and structural analysis hand calculations.
• Execute tasks according to customer standard work processes.
• Mentor and oversee less experienced design engineers.
• Create and present findings at customer design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience within the aerospace industry.
• Specific experience with gas turbine engine design.
• Proficiency in NX CAD software.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Ability to work effectively within an integrated product development team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling Quality Non-Conformances.
• Proficiency with ANSYS Classic and/or Workbench.
• Solidworks experience.

Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain is desired.
