Description

Design and analyze electro-mechanical assemblies, sheetmetal, aluminum, and machine parts from concept through production for military avionic components.

You will perform thermal and CFD calculations using tools like FloTherm and FloEFD. You will design tight electronic enclosures and collaborate with manufacturing on enclosure testing. A BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of experience are required. ProE/Creo is highly preferred; SolidWorks experience is considered. Military electronics or avionics background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electro-mechanical assemblies, sheetmetal, and machine parts from concept to production.
• Perform thermal and CFD calculations for avionic components using FloTherm, FloEFD, or similar tools.
• Design compact electronic enclosures to meet strict space constraints.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams on enclosure testing and validation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in ProE/Creo (highly preferred) or SolidWorks.
• Experience with thermal and CFD analysis tools (FloTherm, FloEFD).
• Strong background in sheetmetal and aluminum part design.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in military electronics or avionics.
