Description

You will lead the design and development of automotive interior and exterior components from initial concept to final product.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive the complete design lifecycle for automotive components, managing time, technology, and cost.
• Collaborate with R&D departments, stakeholders, and suppliers to integrate components into larger systems.
• Create and manage technical documentation, including 2D/3D CAD models, design verification plans, and component requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
• Develop and own design verification plans to ensure all requirements are tested and documented.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Proficiency in CAD systems, specifically CATIA V5 or Creo.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or PDM-link.
• Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal design.
• Understanding of automotive-specific standards and processes.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
