Description

Design and validate mechanical tools for oil and gas well applications, from deepwater developments to carbon capture projects.

Develop concept and detailed designs for packers, hydrostatic actuation systems, production anchors, and polished bore assemblies. Organize and lead detailed design reviews with stakeholders. Create tool and test layouts in compliance with API standards. Ensure product compliance with API 11D1 and API 19OH standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for packers, hydrostatic actuation systems, production anchors, and polished bore assemblies.
• Organize and lead detailed design reviews with relevant stakeholders.
• Create tool and test layouts in compliance with API standards.
• Ensure product compliance with API 11D1 and API 19OH standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of direct experience in the oil and gas domain.
• Expertise in SolidWorks for modeling, assembly, drafting, PLM, and PDM.
• Experience with permanent, open hole, and retrievable packers.
• Proficiency in GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• 5+ years of experience using ERP/MRP (SAP) systems in manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9000 or AS 9100 quality systems.
• Practical application of DFM, DFA, and FMEA principles.
