Description

You will own mechanical design, system layout, and onsite-offshore coordination for vacuum and semiconductor equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for vacuum systems and large assemblies using 3D modeling software.
• Manage system layouts using reference geometry and coordinate with onsite-offshore teams.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and sheet metal forming.
• Utilize PLM/PDM tools for product lifecycle management and documentation.
• Adapt project focus based on priority changes within a multi-discipline global organization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Proficient in 3D solid modeling using Creo (ProE) or similar CAD tools.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with PLM/PDM tools such as Enovia and Windchill.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Publisher).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in reverse engineering.
• Familiarity with SEMI (S2, S8) standards or semiconductor domain experience.
