Own device test automation and mechanical design for consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual test cases using Python scripts and in-house frameworks.
• Extend existing test automation frameworks to meet hardware and software requirements.
• Maintain test infrastructure and testbeds for high stability and availability.
• Create and update technical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Translate manual test cases into efficient automated test scripts.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in test automation or mechanical design.
• Proficiency in Python for writing test scripts and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience developing test automation specifically for consumer electronics devices.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Ability to use Android adb commands and perform log analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
