Description

You will design and analyze axial and radial turbine blades and vanes, including internal cooling structures. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform heat transfer and secondary cooling flow analyses for mechanical engineering assignments.
• Create, execute, and calibrate 2D and 3D transient conduction-convection thermal models using NX Thermal or equivalent tools.
• Build and execute 3D conjugate heat transfer models using StarCCM+ or equivalent software.
• Generate and manipulate complex geometries for vanes and turbine blade components using advanced CAD techniques.
• Communicate technical results clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in gas turbine engineering analysis.
• Proficiency in StarCCM+ or other commercial thermal analysis tools.
• Strong command of CAD software, specifically NX or equivalent platforms.
• Deep knowledge of turbine cooling mechanisms and durability principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of total working experience.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
