Description

• Design and develop structural and mechanical components for dry vans, refrigerated trailers, and platform traile

rs• Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA CAD softwa

re• Perform engineering analysis including strength, fatigue, vibration, and durability assessmen

ts• Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) initiatives within plant operatio

ns• Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and specificatio

ns• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and implement design improvemen

ts• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for product failures or quality concer

ns• Interface with suppliers to develop and qualify components and materia

ls• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activiti

es• Ensure compliance with industry standards (DOT, FMVSS, SAE, and customer-specific requirement
